About collage2

You’re applying, but you’re not hearing back.

You’ve updated the case studies, polished the visuals, and followed every piece of portfolio advice out there, but you’re still not getting callbacks. The work is good, and you know it is.

The problem is that your portfolio is showing what you’ve done instead of selling what you can do. Most designers don’t even think of their portfolio as something that should sell, but that’s exactly what it needs to do. Every page should be convincing someone that you’re the answer to a specific problem they have. This bootcamp teaches you how to rebuild your portfolio around that idea.

Stop showing what you made. Show what you can do.

Most portfolio pages lead with the project. The client, the deliverable, the category. “Brand identity for a fintech startup.” It describes what happened. It doesn’t tell anyone what you bring.

The shift is simple. Instead of leading with the project, you lead with the capability. What specific problem do you solve, and what does that look like in practice? A pipeline that saved a team 10 hours a week. A brand system built to scale across social. A design process that turned a chaotic brief into a clear direction. The project becomes the proof, not the headline.

That’s The Superpower Portfolio. You’re not showing a body of work. You’re presenting a set of services, each backed by real evidence.

Here’s what the bootcamp covers

Part 1:

The Audit + Your Superpower (Live Webinar)

Hiring managers are overloaded. They’re scanning dozens of portfolios at a time, and AI has made execution a commodity. Anyone can produce polished work now. What they’re actually looking for is evidence of human thinking. The ability to solve problems, lead direction, and bring something no tool can replicate. Most portfolios don’t show that. This session is about understanding what they need to see, and building your portfolio around that instead of around yourself.

Part 2:

Homework in the Community (Thriveful)

After Part 1 you get 2 months of Thriveful Starter free ($10 value). This is where the real work starts. You’ll take the superpowers you identified and map them to your existing portfolio projects, figuring out which capability each piece of work actually demonstrates. Post your mapping in the Thriveful community and get feedback from your cohort on whether the connections are clear. By the time Part 3 starts, you’ll know exactly what story each portfolio page needs to tell.

Part 3:

Headlines, Intros + Best Practices (Live Webinar)

You’ve found your superpower and you know the story you want to tell. Now it’s about how you tell it. Most designers lose people not because the work is weak but because the writing around it is. Functional headlines, generic intros, and flat descriptions that make great work invisible. This session is about sharpening the language so the work lands the way it deserves to.

Part 4:

Final Work + Community Showcase (Thriveful)

Now you put it all together. Take everything from the first three parts and reframe one portfolio page using The Superpower Portfolio method. Post it in Thriveful for the full cohort to comment on. Everyone submits, everyone gets feedback. This is your real-world debut, reviewed by designers who’ve been on the same journey and know exactly what to look for. The feedback doesn’t stop here. Thriveful is where you keep going.

*Joining Thriveful for 2 months free is completely optional. You can still attend both live sessions without the online community and feedback component.

Is this right for me?

If any of this sounds familiar, this bootcamp was built for you.

Circle check big

Great at execution, unsure what else to say

You can deliver polished work all day, but when someone asks what makes you different from every other designer, you don’t have a clear answer. You know there’s something, you just haven’t figured out how to name it yet.

Circle check big

Experienced, but it doesn’t come through

You’ve grown a lot as a designer, but your portfolio doesn’t reflect that. The way you introduce yourself and your work still reads like someone earlier in their career, and the depth of what you actually bring gets lost before anyone sees it.

Circle check big

Best practices followed, still not engaging

You’ve written the case studies, shown the process, included the before and after. You’ve done everything the advice says to do, and it still feels like people are scanning past it without really stopping. The format is right but something about the way it’s structured isn’t connecting.

This bootcamp is best for designers who have a portfolio to improve.

What is The Superpower Portfolio?

It’s a method for rebuilding your portfolio around what you uniquely bring to the table, not just what you’ve worked on. Instead of leading with projects and deliverables, you lead with the specific problems you solve and use the work as proof. Every page becomes a service you offer, backed by real evidence.
